Ora retired in 1990 after 20 years of service to the Ashton School District 275. She received the Distinguished Service Award in 1998. She also had a great love of cats.
She is survived by her children; Paul (Tammy) Halvorson of Dixon, Ann (Scott) Rowley of Fontana, WI and David (Barb) Halvorson of Chana, IL. Her grandchildren: Tiffany (Dustin) Pulliam of Fort Worth, TX. Cassie Halvorson of Dixon, Jimmy Halvorson of Crete, IL., Ryan (Stephanie) Halvorson of Marshalltown, IA and Alice Rowley of Fontana, WI, and great grandchildren: Norah Halvorson and Owen Pulliam.
