FAUCETTEDURHAM Mrs. Opal Wood Faucette, 87, of 3032 Ross Road, died on Wednesday, October 20, . Faucette was born in Forsyth County to the late Edward and Minnie West Wood. She retired from the Durham County Library. She was a strongly devoted Mother who will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kenneth Faucette; son, Brian Faucette and a sister, Lu is survived by three sons, Freddie Faucette and Doug Faucette both of Sanford and Keith Faucette of Durham; one daughter, Miriam Thompson (Ronnie) of Durham; one sister, Peggy Troutman of Lewisville, N.C.; two grandchildren, Christie Whitt (Ron) and Brandon Faucette and two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Kedan Whitt.A brief memorial and remembrance service will begin on Saturday at 7 p.m.
