Mrs. Opal Mae Holcomb Wimpy, age 77 of Cleveland. Mrs. Wimpy passed away, October 2, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Opal was born in Towns County and is preceded in death by her parents, Fred Holcomb and Faye Rogers Holcomb, in addition she is preceded by her sisters Helen Holcomb Fain and Ruth Holcomb.
Survivors include her son and daughter in law , F.C. and Pam Wimpy of Martin; granddaughter, Sharon Crossman of Atlanta and great granddaughter, Eliza Noel; sister, Virginia Dean of Helen; brothers, James (Bill) Holcomb of Hiawassee, Eugene (Bud) Holcomb of Young Harris , Fred Holcomb Jr. of Cleveland and brother in law Herbert Fain, also of Cleveland. as well as a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
