Opal E. Harlow, 80, of Pendleton passed away September 12, 2013, at Rawlins House Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born February 23, 1933, in Fortville to the late Harvey and Elizabeth (Bolander) Conger. She graduated from the old McCordsville High School in 1951, was a member of the United Steel Workers, and was a great mother. Opal retired from the former Brookside Corporation in 1996 after 25 years of service.
She is survived by children: Cathy (Maurice) Samson of Indianapolis; Donna Harlow; Ronald (Lisa) Harlow; Keith (Linda) Harlow; and Kenneth Harlow, all of Fortville; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother Harvey “Buss” Conger of GA; and sister: Darlene (Willie) True of Noblesville.
Opal was preceded in death by her husband James S. Harlow; brothers: Kenneth Milner and Bob Conger; sisters Ruth Andis and Ann Harlow.
