As beautiful as a rose to see, was her life she lived so gracefully.  She made things precious by her touch; her selfless love lives on in each of us.  The petals of her life fell one by one; each a gift of her heart till there were none.  Yet her radiance blooms once again in fields of glory with no end.

Onjahnique Tahdase Taylor-Marie Williams was born in January 3,1998, in Aurora, Colorado to her parents, Kinsa M. Cummings and Tahdase D. Williams. She was the only child born to this union. As a child, she was rambunctious, full of life, and had a loving and caring personality.  She was a true girly, girl. She loved playing with Bratz and Barbie dolls and going to the movies. She also loved roughhousing with her male cousins, which made her one tough cookie. Her favorite movies were Caroline and Nightmare Before Christmas, which she would watch almost every day..  She enjoyed sports, as well, and was involved in gymnastics, swimming, volleyball, and soccer.  She was a Colorado Starlite for a couple of years and performed at various events like the Parade of Lights and Juneteenth.

Onjahnique received her fundamental education by attending several schools within DPS, such as, Hallett Elementary, Whiteman Elementary, Wyatt Edison, Bruce Randolph, Prep Academy and North High School. Onjahnique was very intelligent and won numerous awards while attending school.  She also enjoyed writing and was published in two books as a child.

Onjahnique was the proud mother of two beautiful children. Ca’Mari and Qy’Onii.  She was a loving and devoted mother, who enjoyed the quality time shared with her children. She enjoyed teaching them different things, playing with them, and showing them affection.  Her love for them was unconditional and never ending.

Onjahnique attended Light of Life Miracle and Deliverance COGIC along with her aunt.  She recently became a member of The Joy of Deliverance Holy Tabernacle, pastored by her cousin, Pastor Michel Tuggle.

Onjahnique was a fun-loving young lady, who enjoyed life and those she encircled.  In her free time, she enjoyed dancing, listening to music, spending quality time with her children, and watching scary movies.  She also enjoyed eating out, sleeping in, and making people smile.  She was the type of person who never met a stranger and had many, many friends.  She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this sweet and wonderful young lady, who carried a beautiful personality, who loved her hair in many different styles, her nails, eyelashes, lip gloss, and makeup.  To know Onjahnique was to love her.

Onjahnique Tahdase Taylor-Marie Williams departed this life on March 30, 2022, in Aurora, Colorado.  Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss include her children, Ca’Mari M.
