Oma (Richardson) Kelley, 90, of Cromwell, wife of the late Edward M. Kelley, passed away on August 23, 2017 at Middlesex Health Care Center. Born in Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Verlie (Slone) Richardson.
Oma lived in Cromwell for over fifty years. She was a nurse’s aide at Cromwell Crest for over forty years and was a member of the Cromwell Board of Education for thirty years.
Oma is survived by four sons, Lester Shaw and his wife Dori of Avon, John Shaw and his wife Mareyan of Manassas, VA, Charles Shaw and his wife, Donna of Milford, MA, Edward M. Kelley, Jr. of Cromwell; one daughter, Pamela Kelley of Middletown; granddaughter and primary caregiver, Nicole Russo of Middletown; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, a son, Michael Shaw, predeceased her.
