MUNCIE- Ollie L. Rich passed into her heavenly father’s arms on November 6, 2012. Ollie was born on November 27, 1924 in Worley, Kentucky to Jack & Etta Rich (both deceased). Ollie attended Smithtown (KY) schools. She moved to Muncie in 1946 and worked at Ball Brothers Glass Factory until they closed. She then worked for the Muncie Community Schools as the head baker at WilsonMiddle School. After serving thousands
Ollie is survived by her special nephew whom she helped raise Jerry Pierce (Becky). Their son Jerry (Julie) and their children Ashley and Jeremy. A sister Mary Pierce (Ralph). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews including Pat Zachary, Penny Trimble, Mary Alice Simmons (Rick), Jack Pierce (Lisa) and Mickey Pierce (Brenda).
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Bill and Bob Rich, two sisters Opal Davis and Oshie Phillips, a nephew Kenny Davis and a niece Etta Francis Pierce.
