Ollie Hugh Womack, 76, of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 8, 2016. Ollie was born in South Pittsburg, TN, and had been a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga, North Georgia area. He was of the Baptist faith having attended Delray Baptist for many years and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War. Ollie will be remember by family and friends for his kindness, wit, unselfishness, knack for collecting many things, and especially his love of attending Kaylee’s ballgames. Ollie is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Ellen Womack, brothers, George, J.C., Billy and Larry Womack; and sisters, Mary Elizabeth Womack, Inez Crick, and Polly Minor.
Survivors include son, Lebron (Katie) Womack, Ringgold; sister, Mary (Bobby) Jones, Ooltewah; grandchildren, Kaylee and Blake Womack, and Fletcher Sherlin; and several nieces and nephews.
