Ollie Abaddon Cantrell of Boise, Idaho, left our world on November 2, 2022. He was 18 years old.
Ollie was born on December 5, 2003, to Justin Cantrell & Lindsay Howard in Boise, Idaho. With his curly blonde hair, his big blue eyes and contagious smile, Ollie was the light to all his family’s lives. The world was brighter the day he was born.
Ollie was a lover of life and adventure. He loved his family and friends. He was a talented skateboarder, a lover of music, and a man of few words whose kind heart left an impression wherever he went. Ollie was a true friend – he cared about people in the purest way. He loved them for who they were, and he wished the best for them, without asking anything in return. Ollie had so much goodness, so much capacity to bring happiness to others and such a bright future. Though he left this world far too soon, he left this world a better place.
Since Ollie’s death, many have written about how special he was and how fortunate they were to have known him. They reminisce about his ever-present smile and his authentic kindness.
Our memories of Ollie will forever be treasured.
Ollie will be sorrowfully missed by all who knew him, especially his father Justin Cantrell, his mother Lindsay Howard, his stepfather Sam Breidenbach, his stepmother Krystal Turner, his sisters Ripley, Sloane, Toryn, Josie and brothers Tallan and Cruz, his grandparents Lori Cantrell, Larry & Janice Dunn, Kathy Howard, and Mike Howard. Also surviving are his aunts and uncles Amy and Christian Wamhoff, Ryan Howard, Andrea and Casey Hire, Stacy & Josh Kriz, and Sierra and Mike Crowther. Great Grandparents Michael & Dona Sudol and June Cantrell.
Ollie is predeceased by his grandfather Don Cantrell.
