Ollie Buentello was born on January 10, 1917 in Victoria, TX. On Wednesday, August 25th, 1942, she married Saragoza (S.C. or Joe) Buentello; and was a devoted wife until his death in 2000. Ollie was a very hard worker, not only at the factory where she was employed as a skilled seamstress, but also for the elders that she cared for and as a homemaker. She was very social and had many friends. Her personality was vibrant; full of sugar and spice. She enjoyed entertaining, dining & dancing, and was an excellent cook. She was a sweet, caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Her 98 years on this earth were a true blessing.
She is survived by daughter, Belinda Rugerri and her husband Terrell Regan; granddaughters Melissa Carpenter, her husband John and children Cash & Jack; and Elizabeth Morrow, her husband Mark and children Jake, Marcus, Caitlyn, Luke, & Nicholas; siblings Ruth & Joe Rose, Martha & Angelo Scotch, Esther Lara; Mary Moreno; Lorenzo (Jr.) Gonzalez; and Pauline Garza.
