Mrs. Ollie Estelle Adams, of Indianapolis, passed away on the early morning of Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Rosegate Village. She was 88. Estelle was born August 31, 1931 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of the late Hubert and Mildred (Kellett) Silcox.
Estelle attended school in Indianapolis and had retired from the Dunkin’ Donuts on Shadeland Avenue. She was a collector of water fountains and enjoyed word searches and puzzles and watching game shows. Estelle enjoyed baseball and was an avid fan of both the Chicago Cubs and Atlanta Braves. Her greatest accomplishment was her family and she was a deeply devoted mother and grandmother who cared for them and loved them selflessly.
She is survived by her children, John (Theresa) Adams, Walter David Adams, Garry Lee (Cathy) Adams, Gene Adams and Larry (Melody) Adams; her grandchildren, John III, Kari, Tina, Melissa, Tonya, David Lee, Shannon, Garry Jr., Brandon, Danielle and Michelle; 32 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Hubert (Shirley) Silcox as well as several nieces and nephews.
In additional to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her husband, John Wallace Adams, Sr.; her grandson, Ryan and four brothers.
