Olivia N. Livy McVay, 16, of rural Dalton City, IL, and formerly of Ashland, IL died Thursday, August 21, 2008, in Macon County, IL. She was born February 24, 1992, in Chandler, AZ; the daughter of Larry A. Jr. and Lisa Merriman McVay.
She is survived by her parents of Dalton City; her grandparents, Tom and Sue Anne Merriman of Chandler, AZ and Michelle Roby (husband, Ralph) of Nevada, MO; her great grandfather, Norman Peewee Merriman of Virginia; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a special family friend, Chad Taapken of Ashland.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Larry McVay, Sr.
Miss McVay attended Meridian High School in Macon and had formerly attended A-C Central High School in Ashland. She also assisted her mother at the Crock Pot Cafe in Ashland for several years. She had a special love of all forms of music and her dog, Mojo. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and text messaging them while apart.
