Oliver G “Pooch” Dodson was born in Miami, AZ Aug 29, 1930 and entered eternal rest on May 15, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen; a daughter and son-in-law Georgelen and John Turnbull of Loveland, CO; a son and daughter-in-law Casey and Cheryl Dodson of Deming, NM; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.
He is preceded in death by 2 sons, Martin and Patrick Dodson, his father and mother, a sister and 2 brothers. Pooch had many jobs during his life but is probably best known as the owner/manager of Southwest Transit Mix. He was involved with the Masonic Lodge for many years and was a veteran of the US Navy. His many interests include golf, trap and skeet shooting, woodworking, leather working and bow shooting, but the joy of his life was his family.
