Oliver “Doc” H. Clearwater, 93, of Ottawa, passed away Wednesday (July 29, 2015) at the LaSalle County Nursing Home in Ottawa.
He was born June 3, 1922 in Senachwine Twp, IL to William & Margaret Clearwater. He married Phyllis Crew on July 26, 1947 in Varna, IL. He served in the United States Navy and the United States Army in Pearl Harbor during World War II.
He is survived by his wife of Ottawa; children: Roberta (George) Ferguson of Ottawa, David (Bonnie) Clearwater of Sumerfield, LA and Sandra (Lowell) Warrner of Ottawa; 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Joy Clearwater; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
