Olive Mae “Dusty” Giermann passed away peacefully on April 30th, 2023. Just two months shy of her 99th birthday, Dusty remained a pillar of strength through her final days.
Finding words to describe the most loving wife, mother, little poppie, other grandma, and great (great) grandma is nearly impossible. Those who were lucky enough to know her know just how special she was. She was an avid reader, puzzler, and expert bridge player.
Dusty leaves behind daughters Debbie (Lemke) and Nancy; grandchildren Lee (husband Jeremy), Emily, Billy, and Mark; great-grandchildren Colt, Hayden, and Nathan; and good friend and bridge partner Pat.
