June and her twin sister, Jean were born on July 10, 1930 in Fleming, Colorado to Edgar Ross Wilson and Elizabeth (Wrenn) Wilson. She was born into a family of 5, with two sets of twins.
She grew up on the farm in Fleming and attended school in Fleming, graduating with the class of 1948. After graduation, she worked for the telephone company in Sterling. She attended NJC for a short time. June married Royce Hiler in November of 1953 in Sterling. The couple moved to Denver and June started a career at Montgomery & Wards in 1965. They had three children, Gordon, Gary, and Nancy.
Royce and June later divorced. June was a hard worker and raised the three children on her own. She worked at Montgomery & Wards for over 40 years, starting as a sales associate to working in the credit department.
June married the love of her life, Bob Davis in February of 2000. He passed away shortly after their marriage. June loved dancing, shopping for clothing, and listening to music. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to Black Hawk and other places to gamble.
She was a longtime member of Christ United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ross and Elizabeth; brothers Ron and Don Wilson; sister Norma Kennedy; husband Bob Davis and great-grandson Alfonso Vaccaro.
June is survived by her children Gordon Hiler and wife Merlene of Wheatridge, CO, Gary Hiler and wife Nicole of Henderson, NV and Nancy Shaffer and husband Craig of Lisco, NE; twin sister Jean Busig of Sterling; grandchildren, Waylon Hiler and wife Clarissa of Marshall, MO, Jesse Hiler and wife Jennifer of Greeley, CO, Shannon Vaccaro and husband Tony of Omaha, NE, Will Shaffer of Whitman, NE, Abbey Oliverius and husband Travis of Lodgepole, NE and Dawnette Crabb and husband Phil of Steamboat Springs, CO; great-grandchildren, Tatum, Audry and Ruthie Oliverius all of Lodgepole, NE, Vincent and Michael Vacarro from Omaha, NE and Sydney Crabb of Denver, CO.
