Olive I. Morris Weston, 99, Pendleton, died April 2, 2012 at Rawlins House. She was born January 26, 1913 in Anderson, and was a lifelong resident of the area.
Olive had done clerical work for several area businesses. She was a charter member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church, American Baptist Women’s Ministries, and a sixty-seven year member of Order of Eastern Star #154.
Survivors include her nephews, Larry Mechem, Sr. Nancy of Noblesville, L.J. Mechem, Jr. Melanie of Anderson, Mike Mechem Renee’ of Las Vegas, NV, Scott Mechem Tammy of Anderson & Rick Bridgewater companion, Marsha of FL; great niece, Lori Mechem-Spencer Roger of Nashville, TN; cousins, Paula K. Curtin of Indianapolis & Dee O’Banion of Florida; and several great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond C. Weston, in 1995; parents, Frank & Mary M. Spitzmesser Morris; and a sister, Uba Swinford.
