Prospect – Olive G. (Leonhardt) Rathburn, age 101, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday December 31, 2015 at home. She was born October 15, 1914 in Naugatuck to the late Max Leonhardt and Anna Moore. Mrs. Rathburn was the widow of Mr. Frank Rathburn.
Mrs. Rathburn was retired from the Risdon Manufacturing Company in Naugatuck where she served as the Secretary to the President. She was a lifetime member of the Beacon Valley Grange, volunteered at the American Red Cross, was a member of the Naugatuck Senior Center and Naugatuck Eagles Club and enjoyed knitting.
Mrs. Rathburn is survived by her two Grandsons: Kevin Hubbell and his wife, Ginna of Prospect and Joseph Hubbell and his wife, Michele of Naugatuck and a Great Granddaughter Samantha Hubbell of Naugatuck. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter Suzanne Hubbell.
