Olive Belle Walters, age 88, of Fairmount, IN, died Sunday, June 16, 2013, at her son’s residence in Indianapolis, IN.
She was born in Fairmount, Indiana to the late Charles PrestonKibbey and the late Mary Sophronia Draper Kibbey on June 5, 1925.She livedin Grant County all but ten years spent in Delaware County.She was a 1943 graduate of Jefferson Township High School (Matthews).She married Glenn C. Walters on September 21, 1947.He preceded her in death on March 14, 2009.Olive worked at Owens Illinois and Van Buren Essex but most enjoyed being a homemaker.She enjoyed reading, sewing, making teddy bears for the Indiana State Police teddy bear program, writing family history and reaching out to hurting people through cards and notes.She especially liked telling stories and was the go to person when you wanted to know about family or Grant County History.
