Olive A. Grimes, 79, of 2324 West Fourth Street, formerly of the 800 block of Poplar Street, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Sycamore Manor following an extended illness.
Olive’s husband, Francis P. Grimes, Sr., died on November 17, 1989.
Olive enjoyed working puzzle books, reading, watching TV and animals, especially cats.
Born June 29, 1930 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of George W. and Elsie R. Dalton Graybill.
Surviving are sons, David A. and Richard C. both of Williamsport; daughters, Linda J. Grimes of Williamsport and Kathy A. Downs of Montgomery; sisters, Elsie M. Reeder and Doris G. Reeder both of Williamsport and Susan E. Brown of Cogan Station and four grandchildren.
Olive was predeceased by brothers, George and Albert and sisters, Hazel Gibbons, Margaret Martz and Clara.
