Olga (Zamiski) Filaseta, 86, of Bethlehem, died Friday, January 30, 2015, at VNA hospice House of St. Luke’s in Lower Saucon Twp. She was the wife of the late Michael “Musi” Filaseta, who died on Dec. 1, 2005. Born in Hellertown, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Muha) Zamiski. Olga was a seamstress at Laros Silk Mill before raising her family. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, going to the Hellertown pool, and spending time with her family. She was a member of the former Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church and its choir. Survivors: daughters, Michelle Majewski of Hellertown, Gina Thelander and husband Kirk of Chester Springs; sons, Alan Filaseta and wife Kimberly of Haverhill, Mass., Gary Filaseta and wife Melissa of Orefield; grandchildren, Michael Majewski, Jennifer (Majewski) McCauley and husband Justin, Alana Filaseta, Jared Filaseta, Eva Thelander, Mia Thelander, Erik Thelander; great-grandson Tryston Majewski.
