Oleta T. (Collins) Pitcock, 82, of Indianapolis, Indiana went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 4th, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Oleta was born on Friday, November 19th, 1937 in Tompkinsville, Kentucky to the late Otis B. Collins and Dane (Monday) Collins.
Oleta married the love of her life, Ernal M. Pitcock, on Friday, August 26th, 1955. They were married for 65 wonderful years.
Oleta worked in retail for Kmart for more than 25 years in the Personal Department until her retirement in 1999.
Oleta was a doting mother. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for her children. She loved her grandchildren dearly and was very proud to be a great-grandmother. Along with spending time with her family, she enjoyed working outside in the yard, painting, and making crafts.
Oleta is survived by her husband; her four children, Robert (Joy) Pitcock, Cheryl (Robin) Vann, Carol (Dale) Keller, Wayne (Angie) Pitcock; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
Oleta was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Rex R. Collins.
