Oleta Jane Black Muse, age 84, of Mount Sterling Road, Winchester, formerly of Morehead, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at U. K. HealthCare in Lexington.
Born May 28, 1937, in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late Ray Dewey Black and Ethel Lena Lewis Black.
Jane’s loving husband of 63 years, Clifford Harold Muse, whom she wed December 22, 1957, passed away January 27, 2021. She was also preceded in death by her beloved dog, Poindexter.
A lifelong Christian, Jane supported her husband’s ministry for more than 60 years and was a successful homemaker. She had a special place in her heart for children and babysat for a number of families.
