OLEN JAMES WEEKLEY age 86, of 514 Old Salem Road, Roxboro, NC died Saturday afternoon, May 16, 2020 at his home.
Mr. Weekley was born April 16, 1934, in Jackson County, WV son of the late John Wesley Weekley, Sr. & Edith Edna Cottrell Weekley and was husband of 63 years to Nancy Lee Wagner Weekley who survives. He was retired from Hunter-Douglas, was of the Methodist faith, and was a veteran of the US Navy. Mr. Weekley enjoyed golf, Nascar, telling jokes, and he always had a smile.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, David Weekley of Reading, PA, Patricia W. Tillett & husband, Arthur of Timberlake, NC, Sharon W. Simpson of Guntown, MS, brother, John W. Weekley, Jr. of Eljay, GA, four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Weekley is preceded in death by a brother, Ron Weekley.
