Ola Mae Grimes , 90, Anderson, passed away April 27, 2010 at her residence. She was born April 24, 1920 in Anderson, Indiana.
Ola Mae was a lifetime resident of Anderson and graduated from Anderson High School. She retired in 1977 after 36 years years from Indiana Bell. While working at Indiana Bell she was in charge of training.
She was a member of Telephone Pioneers, Muncie Chapter, Ladies On-Line Investment Club, Anderson Art Association and was also a member of the Fine Arts Center. Ola Mae liked to paint and enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Albert Alonzo & Lola Jane Armstrong Lindsay. Husband whom she married on May 12, 1947 and passed away August 8, 1995; Robert Grimes. Three Brothers; James D. Lindsay, George B. Hornbeck and Clayton Hornbeck. Sister; Maxine Snodgrasse.
