Ola Mae Byerly, 89, of Franklin, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019. She was born to James and Ophie (Dalton) Freeman on January 5, 1930 in Worthington.
Ola married her sweetheart, Mahlon Byerly on June 6, 1948 in Worthington. Ola worked at L.S. Ayres in the cosmetic department for 30 years. Ola enjoyed helping her husband with his campaigns. She enjoyed being outdoors. Ola was a very active in her church, Greenwood Christian. She had been a member there since 1974. Ola loved her family very much.
Ola is survived by her two children, Stephen (Kay) Byerly of Franklin and Deana Pierson of Needham; her grandchildren, Hayley (Meredith) Pierson, Megan Love, and Andrea Parsley; and her two great-grandchildren, Camden and Aubree.
Ola was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ophie (Dalton) Freeman; her husband, Mahlon Byerly; her brothers, Robert and Harry Freeman;her sister, Flo Anna Eddy; and her nephews, Floyd and Jack Freeman
