Odette (Reymander) Anderson, of Cromwell, departed this earth on November 22, 2013, joining her recently departed husband, Harry Blake Anderson, whom he lovingly referred to as “my bride.” Odette was born January 9, 1924, in Manchester, Connecticut, and for the 61 years prior to her passing was the loving and devoted wife to her husband whom she married on August 9, 1952 in Wethersfield.
Odette is survived by her three children, Edward Blake Anderson and his wife, KC, Curtis Richard Anderson and his wife, Jennifer, and Heather Arrigoni and her husband Robert, seven grandchildren and one great grandson. Odette graduated from Bulkeley High School in 1942. Upon graduation she modeled for “Charm Magazine” and worked for the Aetna where she met Blake. Besides raising her three children, Odette was also a career insurance professional, retiring from the Middlesex Mutual Assurance Company in 1986 as an Assistant Vice President.
