Details: Oden “Pete”B. Crofoot a 53 year resident of Glen Burnie and formerly of Baltimore died on October 4, 2009 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Mr. Crofoot was born on September 20, 1923 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late George W. and Annie Crofoot. He worked for Cross Auto Parts as a salesman until his retirement in 1988. He was a Founding Charter Member of the Cape St. Claire Volunteer Fire Department in the early 1950’s. Mr. Crofoot was also a member of the Glen Burnie Moose, the Severna Park Fair Lanes Bowling League, the Hopeful Wheelers Multiple Sclerosis and the Arnold Senior Center where he did volunteer work such as singing at Nursing Homes. Mr. Crofoot enjoyed scouting with Troop 849 at Marley United Methodist Church during the late 1950’s until the mid 1960’s, woodworking, and stained glass work. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elsie L. Crofoot, his sons Ronald H. Crowfoot of PA and Gary L. Crofoot of Glen Burnie, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sister Elsie Borman.
