Oddis Gibson, age 85, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021. He was born on July 22, 1935. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Gibson of Dalton; parents, Leonard and Sally Gibson; brothers, Hank Gibson and James Gibson; sisters, Lucille (C. L.) Cruse, Ozeal Gibson and Ruby (Walter) Silvers. He is survived by his care givers (nieces); Ann Clarey and Cheryl Pierce; also several more nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Juanita Gibson, Wilma Gibson, Faye (Denver) Langley and Dorothy Weber. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dalton Place Memory Care and Amedisys Hospice Care.
