February 29, 1940 – June 9, 2016 Ocie Harold Gordon, Sr., a native of Mobile, Alabama, left his earthly bonds on June 9, 2016 at the age of 76, at Providence Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Gordon served in the Army National Guard from September 1961 until October 1965. Mr. Gordon was employed by the Mobile Press Register where he served as a supervisor and retired after 28 years of dedicated employment. He was a devoted husband of 58 years to his wife Lois Carroll. He was preceded in death by his son; Ocie Harold, Jr. He leaves behind a daughter; Lois Evelyn (John) Kerr-O’Dell, two grandchildren; Joshua and Kerstin Kerr and three sisters; Barbara Brewer, Charlotte Howell, and Joyce Rouleau. Services for Mr. Gordon will be on Monday, June 13, 2016 at Valhalla Memorial Gardens, 8730 Sims Rd., Semmes, AL.
