Wilma Edna Jane Hoffmeister of Rolla, Missouri passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center. Wilma was 92 years, 5 months and 10 days of age.
Wilma was born on April 8, 1916 to her parents Edward Clarence and Mary Edna (Alexander) Bond. She was united in marriage to John Henry Hoffmeister on November 15, 1933.
Wilma was a loving, caring wife, mother and grandmother.
Wilma is survived by two sons: John Henry Hoffmeister Jr.; and Harold Richard Hoffmeister and wife Bonnie both of Rolla, Missouri; two daughters: Anita Clover and husband Lee of St. James, Missouri; and Rosemarie Owen and husband James of Woodridge, Virginia; and one sister: Grace Wood of Rolla, Missouri; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Wilma will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceding Wilma in death is her parents: Edward Clarence and Mary Edna (Alexander) Bond; husband: John Henry Hoffmeister on March 16, 1988; one daughter: Elisabeth Samson; four brothers: Ward, Ralph, Edward, and Walter Lee Bond; two sisters: Lois Dunkle and Mary Butler.
