New Gloucester-Willis E Verrill. 78. of New Gloucester. passed away August 6 at his home. He was born June 7th,, 1935 in Lewiston. Maine. He attended New Gloucester schools where he graduated. He was the son of the late Angie and Merritt Verrill.
His wife of 57 years.
He served in the United States Army Reserves. He was a truck driver most of his working career. He also worked as a locksmith at Pineland Center where he retired. He and his wife solely owned and operated Will and Lainey’s Farm Stand for 16 years. He recently was presented a 50 year member of the Cumberland Masonic Lodge # 12 pin. He also was a volunteer with the New Gloucester Fire Department for many years. Other interests include the Boston Red Sox, hunting, fishing and trapping.
