Kauffman on October 27, 1956. He was retired from Peske Plant in Ionia and TRW in Portland. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Thomas (Cathy) Leik of Kentwood, Patricia (Douglas) Brown of Ionia, Brenda VanDeusen of Orleans and Julie (Luke) White of Belding; sisters and brothers, Rosalie (Robert) Sochor, Joanne (Ed) Theis, Jim (Diane) Leik and Robert (Inez) Leik; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and special little buddy, Nicholas Boster. William is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Pauline Leik; mother and father-in-law, Vance and Alice Kauffman; son-in-law, Rik VanDeusen and grandson, RC Brown.
