William J. Lindner, Sr., 89, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, December 20, 2013 at his home. He was born in Cambridge on March 28, 1924 and was a son of the late Arthur Max Lindner and Naomi C. Brooks Lindner.
After graduating from Cambridge High School class of 1941, he worked in Baltimore. He entered the U.S. Army, serving in the 29th Division. After he was discharged, he worked at the Eastern Aircraft General Motors Division in Baltimore. There he met and married Sybil Wanda Akers on August 4, 1945.
