William “Bill” Joseph Eddy

Age 82, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015 after a long battle battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Bill was a member of St. Patrick Church and volunteered in many ways. He enjoyed coaching baseball, was active in the Portland Civic Players and helped form the Portland Area Service Group. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Ireland and many baseball stadiums across the country. Bil was a selfless man who loved children. He was preceded in death by his parents; Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Anne; Son, Sean Eddy and a daughter, Maureen Devota; grandchildren Taylor and Shane Devota; siblings Robert Eddy, Jennie Weber and Joan (Reuben) Wimpari; several nieces and nephews; special life long friend, Richard Leik.
