Age 76, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away January 16, 2009 in Florida. He was born on March 21, 1932 the son of Ralph and Mary Willemin. Bill was a lifelong resident of Portland, and a graduate of Portland High School in 1950. Bill was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Carson City. He worked at Oldsmobile in Lansing for 37 years and then moved to Crystal, MI. and has lived there for the past 18 years. Bill was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Lions Club and the Model A Club. On May 22, 1954 he married Elaine Spohn and together they raised 5 sons. He will be remembered for his wonderful woodwork and all the talents he shared with people. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, sister Marilyn Stump, and a brother Richard “Dick” Willemin. Surviving are his wife Elaine “Bugsy” Willemin; sons Dr. Russ (Kathy) Willemin, Denny (Meg) Willemin, Dr. Doug (Laura) Willemin, Mike (Shari) Willemin and John (Chris) Willemin; 15 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister Janice Trierweiler.
