William E. Brown, Jr. of Chestertown, MD, died on February 3, 2016, at the UM Shore Nursing and Rehab Center in Chestertown. He was 76 years old. Born in Ridgely, MD on November 10, 1939, Mr. Brown was the son of the late William Edward Brown, Sr. and Ella Eunice Fields Brown. Mr. Brown graduated from the Chestertown High School in 1957. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and later owned and operated Brown Electric in Chestertown. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Brown of Chestertown; a son, Mark E. Brown of Chestertown; a stepson, Barry Kracke of Federalsburg, MD; a step-brother, Glen Turner of Worton, MD; three grandchildren: Amanda, Barry, and Crystal; three great grandchildren: Kobe, Kaylee, and Elizabeth; and several cousins.
