Age 84, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2012 surrounded by his family. He was born on December 17, 1927 in Danby Twp. the son of A. Burton and Minnie Brown. Weldon was a life long farmer and was a truck driver at Central Soya in Portland for a number of years. He was a member of the Portland United Methodist Church and along with his wife, Roma spent many winters in Lakeland, Florida. Weldon was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and worked for 20 years at Joker Marchant Stadium during spring training. He was on the Board of Directors at P.C.A. and served as the Danby Twp. Clerk. Weldon loved his family, especially the grandchildren very much. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wendell; several sisters and brothers-in-law. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Roma; children Melody (Dan) Schrauben of Portland, David (Jeannine) Brown of Portland and Melissa (Tony) Shapow of Tekonsha; grandchildren Emily (Sam), Julie, Katelyn (Neil), Alyssa, Tori, Nikki, Melanie, Gabbi and Olivia; brothers Walter and Wayne Brown; sister, Betty Duffey; several sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
