Webster Banks McWhorter was born on Sunday, July 13, 1947, to the union of Daniel Webster and Luella Banks McWhorter in Blue Springs, Mississippi. He was the 9th of their 15 children.
Dank, as he was affectionately known, accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He graduated from B. F. Ford High School in 1965. He moved to Racine, WI shortly after graduation, and enlisted in the U.S. Army in Milwaukee, WI on August 1, 1966. He served in Vietnam from March to May of 1967 and was discharged from the military on June 21, 1972. After his time in the service, Webster moved back to Blue Springs, MS and began working in different industries. He worked for a time at Pennsylvania Tire company (later known as Cooper Tire) and eventually found employment in the furniture industry. He eventually retired in 2005.

Webster departed this life for his heavenly home on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by both his parents, and his siblings W.C Cotrie, Jimmy D., Greenella M., Helen, James Daniel, Irma Jean, Lester “Brit”, & Sherry “Denise”.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughters, Vickie A. Farris (Rodney) of Racine, WI, Kesha A. Long (Maury) of Trussville, AL; brothers, Jeff Banks McWhorter (Treva) and William C. McWhorter both of Racine, WI; sisters, Jackie Hattix of Blue Springs, MS, Maryon S. Mack (Lawrence), Jennie L. Johnson, and Tammie G. McWhorter all of Racine, WI; grandchildren Destiny of Racine, WI, Joshua of Davenport, FL, Jaycen, Marlee, Kaylee and Amelia all of Trussville, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
