Wayne Young, 78 of Williams, MN passed away on Thursday, November 3rd, 2022, at home. He was a proud Navy veteran who served on the USS Coral Sea. He loved to hunt, fish, read, playing cards, and mowing grass on his zero turn.
Wayne Richard Young was born on December 24, 1943, in Powers Lake, ND. Wayne is one of three children born to Marvin and Margaret Young. Fifty-six years ago on August 20, 1966, Wayne married Sharyn Adell Bitzer in St. Louis Park, MN and together they have four children: Kelly (Kent) Porter of Bemidji, MN; Wanda (Gregg) Espelien of Devils Lake, ND, Wade (Michelle) Young of Bemidji, MN and Cole Young of Bemidji, MN. They have seven grandchildren: Hannah (Shane), AJ, Ashley (Josh), Brandon (Victoria), Jasmine, Jared and Derek. They have three great grandchildren: Holden, Hinleigh, Ella.
Wayne is preceded in death by his father, mother, and the love of his life Sharyn.
