Age 82, loving husband, dad, and grandpa was called home to be with the Lord on October 27, 2009. He was born on August 14, 1927 in Detroit the son of Wayne and Margaret (Martz) McQueary, Sr. Wayne served (1945-1947) as a Corporal during WWII in the Army Air Force. He worked at Oldsmobile for 37 and half years before retiring in 1987. Wayne was a former Grand Knight of the Westphalia Knights of Columbus St. Jude Thaddeus Council #2890. On November 7, 1959 he married Mary Margaret Hanses and on that date this year they would have shared 50 years of marriage together. Wayne enjoyed golfing and his pride and joy was his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Mary Margaret; daughter Melinda Sue (Steve) Thelen; son Christopher William (Joan) McQueary; grandchildren Becky (Brian) Rehmann, Tracy Thelen, Eric Thelen, Kaitlyn McQueary, William McQueary, P.J., Abbey and Jacob Feldpausch; great grandchildren Michaela Rehmann and Parker Thelen.
