Scarborough- Wayne F. Briggs passed away on September 28, 2013 peacefully at his home. He was born in Sanford, Maine on August 17, 1922.
He attended Sanford High School and played for the Sanford Redskins High School Football team. After High School he enlisted in the USNR and was an Ariel photographer in WWII. On June 6, 1946 he married Priscilla Tozier and they were married for 66 years. Wayne and Priscilla had two children, Gary and Penny, and four Grandchildren Tyler, Leah, Nathan and Haley. Wayne graduated from USM, Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree.
