W. Henry Williams died Thursday, June 1, 2017, at his home near Easton, MD. He was 94 years old.

Mr. Williams was born at home on the family farm on December 27, 1922. He was the son of the late John Malin Williams and Leota Gannon Williams. He and his wife, Betty M. Williams of Easton were married 72 years ago on August 17, 1944. Mr. Williams was a WWII U.S. Army veteran, having served in the European Theater. He became a paint contractor and also raised chickens for most of his life. He was a member of the Caroline American Legion Post 29 in Denton.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Williams is survived by four daughters: Sandra Hogan (Ken) of Charlotte, NC, Gail Kelley (Jack) of Denton, MD, Debbie Orrell (Phil) of Easton, and Connie Yelle (Dale) of Middletown, DE; one sister, Louise Henckel of Easton; five grandchildren: Jason Orrell, Brandon Orrell, Erin Brandt, Kimberly Standing, and Rachel Schnaitman; nine great grandchildren; and a special nephew, Ron Medford (Suzanne) and their daughter, Kelly, of Bethesda, MD. He was preceded in death by five brothers: Robert Williams, Leonard Williams, John Williams, George Williams, and James Williams, and one sister, Anna Walmsley.
