Vivian Aileen Morrison Warner, 75, of Cuba passed away Monday, June 25, 2007 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan. She was born in Steelville, the daughter of Raymond Algernon and Wynema (Underhill) Young.

After graduating from Steelville High School, Vivian moved to St. Louis in 1948 where she met and married Claude Morrison. To this union, two children were born, Raymond Morrison and Claudette Gruver-Smith. The family moved to California where Vivian continued her education and was employed as an accountant for Douglas Aircraft Company and Hajoca Plumbing Supply. Later in life, Vivian married John Warner on June 12, 1981 in Thousand Oaks, California.

Those left to mourn her passing are her husband, John of 26 years; one son, Raymond Morrison of Hot Springs, Arkansas and one daughter, Claudette Gruver-Smith and husband Kendall of Stoutland, Missouri; three grandchildren, Cheryl Gruver of Steelville, Stephanie and Diana Morrison both of Newbury Park, California; two sisters, Vera Whalen and Lois Bridgeman and husband Orville both of Newbury Park, California. She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Jon William and Daniel Neil Gruver Jr.; one son-in-law, Danny Gruver; two brothers, Roy Young and his wife Earline and Harold Clay Young; and one brother-in-law, Danny Richard Whalen.

In her later years, Vivian was a homemaker. Throughout Vivian’s life she enjoyed sewing, working in her flower garden, traveling, family and friends.
