Virginia Adair Turner Wintle, died peacefully on April 6, 2014 at the Barron Center in Portland. Known to friends and family as Ginny, she was born on October 12, 1922 in Palmyra, Maine to parents Manzer Turner, farmer, and Rachel Tibbetts Turner, housewife and school teacher.
Ginny attended a one room school house with her mother Rachel as teacher and many of her sisters and neighbors as classmates. She graduated from Corrina Union Academy and Becker Junior College. She was married to Victor E Wintle in Dexter Maine on November 17, 1945.
