Viola Rose Agricola, 96, of Cuba, MO, formerly of Jennings, MO passed away on Friday, May 29, 2009 at the Cuba Manor in Cuba, Missouri. She was born April 29, 1913 to Frederick and Ida (Schmidt) Cluss in St. Louis, MO. On April 28, 1934, Viola and August John Agricola were married in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death on November 15, 1966.

Viola enjoyed life and loved to garden, sew, cook and dance. She had been an active member of the Senior Citizen clubs in St. Louis for many years. Viola was known for her fastidious housekeeping skills and wonderful cooking.

Viola is survived by one daughter, Judy Wiget and husband Frank of Steelville, MO; one son, Richard John Agricola and wife Shirley of Durham, NC; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Agricola and wife Shannon, Kathy Pearson and husband Edward and Frank David Wiget and wife Barbara; three great-grandchildren, Edward A Pearson II, Dorthea Michelle Pearson and Crystal Ann Wiget; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, August, two brothers, Frederick Cluss and Edwin Cluss; two half-brothers, Charles Pitts and Walter Pitts and one sister, Flora White.
