Mrs. Butler was born in Thomasville, AL on Nov. 22, 1940 to the late Collin Carlisle and Beulah Branton Carlisle. She was an active member of Brandon Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Mrs. Butler was an avid Alabama fan and also enjoyed playing Bunko.
She is survived by her husband, Jasper Butler; 5 children, Kenneth Wayne Butler (Melissa), James David Butler (Amberlee), Benjamin Varrell Little (Sheila), Timothy Ray Mott and Nancy Yvonne Savage; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Mrs. Butler is also preceded in death by her son, Joseph Allan Butler and 5 siblings.
