Victoria Margaret Vide of Eldersburg, Maryland, passed away on March 20, 2023.
Vicky was born at the U.S. AFB in Dreux, France. As a typical Air Force family, Vicky traveled with her parents, five siblings and a dog from base to base every two years. She was the smallest of all her siblings, but also known within the family as the feistiest. Definitely her father’s favorite. Her family settled in Montgomery, Alabama, where she went to Montgomery Catholic High School and Auburn University – graduating with a degree in International Business. After graduation Vicky went to work for the Department of Defense in Fort Meade, Maryland, retiring after 34 years.
Vicky was a computer geek. She would spend the majority of her days in her “command center” keeping up on the current events, playing cryptic puzzles and games, and watching her extended family grow via social media.
Vicky is survived by husband of 37 years, William Marton, brother Joseph Vide of Raleigh, NC, sisters: Annabel Donnawell of Elkridge, MD, Rose Mary Gifford of Richmond, VA, and Theresa Perkins of Montgomery, AL, and two stepdaughters: Christy Marton of Parkton, MD, and Melissa Marton of Daytona, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Rosita Vide, and her younger brother Robby Vide.
