Vernon Hendrickson, age 60 of Warroad, formerly of Roseau, passed away on July 29, 2006 at his home in Warroad.
Vernon Dale Hendrickson, the son of Helen (Hovde) and Vernon Hendrickson was born on February 7, 1946 in Baudette, MN. The family moved to Roseau where he was raised and attended school. Vernon was never married.
He worked at Marvin Windows, Arctic Cat, and recently at the ODC in Roseau. He loved to fish and hunt. He liked working on model airplanes and cars, especially painting them. He was very talented with his hands. He was also very good with electronics and volunteered with the Coast Guard in Warroad as a radio operator.
Vernon is survived by two brothers, Leslie (Peggy) of Roseau, and Warner (Denise) of Roseau, a sister Juleen Hendrickson of Roseau, and nieces and nephews, Tanya, Amy, Amber, Nathan, Gabriel, Elise, Alison, Sean, Elizabeth, Jesse, and Justin. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, and a nephew Aaron.
