Verna B. “Nellie” Dodge passed away on August 18, 2018 at the age of 76. She was the beloved wife of Ronald Dodge of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri; She is survived by her four sons, Ronald (Janice) Dodge Jr. of Osage Beach, MO, Joseph (Judy) Dodge of O’Fallon, MO, Timothy (Susie) Dodge of O’Fallon, MO, David (Gail) Dodge of O’Fallon, MO; five grandsons, Joshua Dodge of O’Fallon, MO, Christopher Dodge of Osage Beach, MO, Ryan (Tyler) Dodge of Kempner, TX, Kevin Dodge of O’Fallon, MO, Nathan Dodge of O’Fallon, MO; five granddaughters, Nicole (Mason) Vaughn of Havelock, NC, Kayla Dodge of O’Fallon, MO, Emily Dodge of Sedalia, MO, Crystal Dodge of O’Fallon, MO, Megan Dodge of O’Fallon, MO; great-grandson, Logan Dodge of Kempner, TX; brother, Glen (Ann) Allen of Risco, MO; five sisters, Judy Belt of Jonesboro, AR, Peggy (Johnny) Hampton of Malden, MO, Patricia Avery of Granite City, IL, Brenda Sue of Granite City, IL, Sheilah (Steve ) Reece of Lake Ozark, MO; sister-in-law, Vickie Allen. She is preceded in death by her father, Vernie Allen, mother, Nona Bell Allen nee Wrinkle, daughter, Kathleen Marie Dodge, brother, Jerry Allen. Verna cherished her marriage of over 55 years to her beloved husband Ron. Her faith in God and family was her first priority. She enjoyed several trips and cruises with her family in addition to many fun weekends at the family campsite in Edgar Springs, MO. Verna was a kind and compassionate person to her family, friends, and a friend to all.
